Leicester City have received a huge fitness boost ahead of their meeting with Liverpool this weekend.

The Reds will travel to the King Power Stadium this Sunday to face Ruud van Nistelrooy’s struggling side.

The game sees two teams with contrasting fortunes square up in what could be a deciding weekend.

Liverpool could be crowned Premier League champions if they win at the King Power Stadium and Arsenal lose to Ipswich Town.

Meanwhile, Leicester City’s relegation can be confirmed this week should they lose this game against the Reds.

Ahead of the game, Leicester City manager Rudd van Nistelrooy has revealed that four players will return to the squad.

Three of the returnees all missed their last game against Brighton but are fit and available for the tir against Liverpool.

Wout Faes, Victor Kristiansen and Jeremy Monga were left out of the squad at the Amex Stadium as City claimed a 2-2 draw to end their losing run.

According to Van Nistelrooy, Faes had a minor injury prior to the game, and the Belgian defender was not passed fit in time.

He was joined on the sidelines by Monga, the 15-year-old unable to follow up his City debut against Newcastle with another outing on the south coast because of a knock to his ankle.

A private personal matter saw Kristiansen excused from the squad.

“He had a knock on his ankle, and he couldn’t be here today, unfortunately,” the Leicester coach said.

“It looks now that they (Monga and Faes) can be available?

Victor Kristiansen couldn’t be here due to personal circumstances, so he’ll be back as well for next week.”

Meanwhile, Facundo Buonanotte, who was ineligible to face parent club Brighton, will return to the fold against Liverpool.

So the Foxes will have four players back in contention.
